Since 2007, following Norbert Blei's encouragement, I've applied myself as an observer and writer of Island life, Island history through books and blog postings. I'm a resident of Washington Island, with an involvement in community organizations. I have an interest in local events and evolving dynamics of life on Washington Island. I've been an occasional contributor to the Island Observer, in particular through the Adventure in the Archives pages.
